A branding and identity project for Vivacity Health, an award-winning creative healthcare communications agency. Bought to life with a website and digital roll-out.
Introduction
Working within the Vivacity Health team as their creative lead, the first I wanted to tackle was the agency’s brand strategy and visual identity.
The overall brand visuals were somewhat dated and the brand strategy lacked direction and focus. Since being acquired by health data giants IQVIA, the details about the agency’s services were unclear and the comms around their relationship with IQVIA were confusing and hidden, these needed to be highlighted as it soon became clear this relationship was actually their superpower.
The objectives of this project were to:
modernise the Vivacity Health brand and carve out clear brand strategies
create a defined brand story, define products, services and offerings
create ownable visual identities that can work across all touch points
Brand DNA workshop
I ran one of my tailored and collaborative workshops, using specific exercises derived from brand psychology studies, helping uncover their brand personality and positioning within the market.
Using these insights and data, I then brought the brand to life with a strong, defined identity, supported by concise and consistent brand style guidelines, supporting the team on how best to utilise them.
These workshop exercises are invaluable as they help the team understand and agree on the brand identity, mission and direction, whilst also empowering them to make brand-focussed decisions going forward.

Brand and Identity
Through the collaborative work we did, we discovered the brand was built on expertise and passion, with a drive to approach things differently and with a bold energy. This brand was not looking for ordinary. Led by the brand personality, I developed a voice and identity that was fun, playful, passionate and proud, paving the way to a perfect positioning statement; ‘Make healthcare extraordinary’.
As a part of the brand DNA project, I developed full brand style guides, providing creative direction, design guidelines and assets to ensure consistency across all brand touch points.
Website Design
A key part of the brand work for the launch was to update the existing website. We elevated the website so it went from a one-pager to a full fledged website detailing the who the agency were, their approach, their services and what made them different. The website had to reflect the the brand’s bold and fun personality whilst also showing their expertise within the healthcare industry, ensuring consistent design codes, brand DNA and personality across all digital spaces.
